Challenge Workshops: Why Missing Them Is Missing Out

Nearly one year ago, Net Impact Austin developed a custom workshop series specific to the passion that Austinites have for making a meaningful difference to mom-&-pop businesses and non-profits in the local community.

The objective of the workshops is to tackle a current, real-life challenges being faced by our selected client organizations. Some participants have likened the workshops to a MBA case study, but with the organization’s leaders in the room and a real opportunity to have impact their future success. To date the problems to be solved has been unique to each workshop but the eagerness and appreciation of the client organizations has always been consistent.

The magic of Challenge Workshops comes from the combined intelligence of the participants who bring a wide variety of expertise and experience to each workshop. For one night, our clients have free access to you: your brains, your experience, and your passion. This is a powerful moment that can catapult these organizations past hurdles they are facing, open their eyes to new opportunities, and fast-forward them toward productive solutions.

For attendees, the experience can be just as powerful. This is an opportunity to collaborate with others in a forum with a common purpose. By working together in groups, attendees are exposed to each other's interests, opinions and expertise at a more intimate level than at traditional events, forging connections that extend far beyond the workshop experience.  As a result, many participants leave not only feeling invigorated from the experience of applying their "work" skills for good, but also with knowledge of new opportunities which benefit their professional development.

Don’t be the one who misses out – take advantage of this quarterly opportunity to have a tangible and meaningful impact on our community while connecting with passionate and knowledgeable professionals!
