A Day in a (Un)Sustainable Life is a project that studies differences in perceptions of sustainable consumption practices around the world. We hope you will participate by wandering into your community and take photographs of the best and worst in sustainability, in your immediate neighborhood or throughout the city. By sharing your photographs and throughts with the A Day in a (Un)Sustainable Life project you will help create a worldview of the adoption of sustainability practices.
Participating involves as much or as little time as one wishes - you don’t need to be a professional photographer to make a major contribution to the project! It is an easy and fun way for you to join the more than one billion people in 190 countries that are taking action for Earth Day.
See the attached PDF with full instructions on how to participate from David Alexander, Assistant Professor of Marketing at University of St. Thomas, and Chris Weirens, President of University of St. Thomas Net Impact Chapter, the project sponsors.
I’m going to take an hour or two out of my Earth Day celebrations to capture what I see around Austin – It sounds easy and I love a chance to exercise my creative muscle! Hope you will participate too!
