Amber Sprague, a Wells Fargo employee, first joined Net Impact as a MBA candidate at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. She was initially most impressed by how Net Impact brings together “a broad range of people with a common interest in responsible business and making positive social change”.
Since then, Amber has discovered the power of the Net Impact network. “Through attending both the European and US conferences,” she explains, “I have met amazing people who have both inspired me as well as helped me with my professional growth. After graduation, I was able to leverage the network throughout the US for both my job search as well as personal desire to stay informed of what is happening in different industries.”
Amber, a member of the Net Impact Austin Executive Board, values the non-exclusionary policies of Net Impact Austin which creates an environment where everyone - from the evangelists to the curious - can comfortably engage around the theory and practices of sustainable business. She continues to be involved with Net Impact because of "the power of the network" and is excited to be in a position to give back to others seeking opportunities and new connections.
