Sustainable Blind Wine Tasting: And the winner is….???

On Saturday, February 4th, about 130 people came through East End Wines for the Net Impact Sustainable (Blind) Wine Tasting.

The challenge of the evening – can you pick out the wine that was originally packaged in the glass bottle?
84 ballots were turned in; each ballot was allowed 2 guesses.

Net Impact's new look!

As you can see, the Net Impact Austin Professional Chapter website is looking a little different (and yes, we still have a little more work to do) and we want to let you know why!

2012 is Net Impact's 20th anniversary and Net Impact used their 20th anniversary as an opportunity to update the Net Impact look. As an indpendent but affiliated chapter, we wanted to jump on board with the new look and logo so we've updated our site as well.

But what does beer have to do with sustainability? What I encountered was a phenomenal story!

Net Impact's Austin CSL's April 12th Event

I'm particularly excited about the next Austin Corporate Sustainability Leadership (Austin CSL) Consortium Event. While Green Teams are not the new "cutting edge" of sustainability, they have been a large driving force behind many sustainability initiatives throughout large corporations. At the April event, we are going to focus on how to launch a green team or strengthen an existing green team. Come join us to share your experiences and insights to help others launch a green team - or - Come join us if you are interested in launching one and would like some quick hints and information to help make it successful!

Net Impact’s Austin Corporate Sustainability Leadership (CSL) Meeting
