         Austin’s Corporate Sustainability Leaders Consortium

What better way to advance sustainability in Austin than to bring the active sustainability leaders of Austin’s top employers together to share, discuss and brainstorm new ideas?

The Idea

Austin has a robust landscape of employers that advocate environmental responsibility whether by the products they create or in the way their buildings function. While Austin in itself has a very active “eco” network, the challenges inherent in developing and leading green initiatives within large organizations are unique. By bringing together the active sustainability leaders of Austin’s top employers to share best practices and successes, we can learn from each other's experiences and amplify our impact.

The Opportunity

Austin’s CSL Consortium is an opportunity to come together with other sustainability leaders and work together to decide how best to use each other and the consortium as a forum to improve sustainability in your organization. The first event will allow you to meet sustainability leaders from other large employers who are working from the inside to make their organization more sustainable and environmentally aware.

The Participants

If you have developed and/or led a sustainability initiative within a large employer in Austin, we would love to have you join us! Whether “sustainability” is in your job title or you have led a green initiative within your company that went above and beyond your designated job function, you have the insights, experience and interest that will enrich the Consortium and the conversation.
