Solar Austin Happy Hour presents featured speaker, Pam Groce of the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO).
Pam will talk about SECO's Innovative Energy Program - past, present and future. She also will provide an overview of the 2008 update of the RE Resource Assessment presented to the Texas Legislature and present highlights of solar, wind and biomass projects as well as upcoming 2009 projects.
Bio:
Pam is a lifelong environmentalist and has been promoting energy efficiency, renewable energy education, and sustainability at the State Energy Conservation Office for over 12 years. Her education in energy and environmental studies is ongoing. Pam is a member of the International and American Solar Energy Society, the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, the Rural Alliance for Renewable Energy, and an honorary member of the TX Solar Energy Society.
