Crude Awakening: Energy Sustainability & Management

On Wednesday evening [13 May] from 7-9 p.m the Crude Awakening Austin group will meet to explore current topics:  Energy sustainability and energy management

Susan Meredith will speak about the crucial components of the energy puzzle
and some that are missing from the Texas bills this session. She is the
author of "Beyond Light Bulbs: Lighting the Way to Smarter Energy
Management."

Robert Meredith will cover energy efficiency in buildings, and overcoming obstacles
to its implementation. He is the co-founder of the Go Green Squads,
providers of full service energy efficiency assessments and upgrades.

We meet at the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church annex at 40th Street and Avenue B.  The light will be on; the door will be open!

There are several alternative transportation modes to this venue:
This location is a few blocks from the following bus routes, 338, 7, 5, 3, and 1.
The annex is at the intersection of bicycle routes 34 and 47.
There is also an Austin CarShare station nearby at 43rd & Ave H
